"Texting on Eggshells"
"When you have to be so very careful of what you type in simple text format as not to offend,
anger or confuse the text recipient."
That being said....
This was the true case for me. Constant required explanations and endless attempts of reasoning with
this (unnamed) person's continuous argumentative misinterpretations of simple texts were tiresome, to
say the very least. I had been texting on eggshells to another member of the band, had to. It was
always a given knowing that the simplest of my replies to this person would have to be explained or
defended because of the always anticipated misinterpretation.
I became used to it and tried to do as little communication to this person
via texting as possible. But hey, there was something new and different this time......
My response text to yet another gig cancelled due to a conflict of interest, (not on my part), was the
popular three lettered "omg!" acronym that I used in conjunction with a delayed additional text stating
that i wouldn't pursue any music venues in Prescott AZ, as "Whiskey Row" was in my sight for bookings.
Our entire schedule had been put on hold for an undetermined amount of time so I didn't know what
dates I could actually book in Prescott. After said text, I received a very angry phone call at work.
Not knowing what was up or why i was being yelled at, I found out it was because of my text, which
was misunderstood, naturally. I verbally attempted to explain what was meant about the misperceived
"omg!" text when it was yelled out to me,
"it was the way it was typed"!
Yes, it was the way it was typed. With all of the screaming and yelling this person was doing to me
early that morning, there was in no way anything that would be rationally
communicated to the point of understanding.
"omg!"... That's all it took for this person to release me from my 2 year long commitment and
dedication to this band.
Possible misinterpretation was the furthest thing on this person's mind. It was a blatantly obvious
vendetta situation and "omg!" being typed the way it is shown here, triggered the very familiar,
unnecessary drama filled turmoil thought process of this person, bringing forth
the destruction of my part of this band unit.
The keyboard, on any communication device, is not alive and cannot convey the emotion or human
feelings behind the way the font visually addresses said texts, but yet, some people believe that the
way someone types a word, any word, can and will be taken in the worst possible way and
misinterpreted so they get absolutely mental about it. Who knows or cares.
(In the music industry, there are many names and/or acronyms for similar symptoms as well..... Look it up).
By the way, what does an angry font look like anyway........anybody?
Oh well, it just doesn't matter anymore. I will happily pursue other venues. I'm not angry at all.
I just felt that you, our Arizona fans, deserved to hear the truth behind the end of
this short lived legacy i was part of.
These are the provable facts on my final experience.
Thank you to the 6 Bliss member(s) who cared but didn't have my back . To our fans - For me, I personally
thank you from my heart for being there for us. You all provided us with good times and the energy we
felt while playing music for you!
I am just so very relieved and happy that, musically, I don't have to be around someone
like this any longer. :)
Much Love To You All! Frank Madrid - former lead & rhythm guitarist -

waver, obviously required: This factual statement is in no way designed to hurt, maim, emotionally destroy, insult,
belittle, chastise, incriminate, be blasphemous or be taken out of context in any way, fashion or form,
although, I do anticipate it will, just check out her BandMix ad, I'm now the one eyed asshole she talked about and
this is the true reason I am not with them any longer, not the lies she posted there). Way to go T!
